1. PLEASE SUPPORT BJANA PHILANTHROPY AND COMMUNITY
SERVICE PROJECTS
BJANA has supported multiple philanthropic efforts to help
folks back home in Bihar and Jharkhand for last three years.
In addition to raising fund for flood victims, BJANA with
generous supporters like you has contributed $10,000 to Bharat
Vikash Parishad Viklang Hospital in Patna to start
surgery late 2008. Viklang Niwas has been providing artificial
limbs to handicap children throughout Bihar and Jharkhand
since 1999.
BJANA also contributed $1,000 to Village Hope Foundation,
which has been engaged, since 1999 in running a primary/secondary
school in a tribal village near Simdega, Jharkhand.
We are investigating Aid India-Eureka Child,
which is currently working in 4 Bihar districts: Jahanabad,
Rohtas, Arwal and Madhepura focused on education (improving
reading and science skills) and solar electrification. The
distribution of the Tata-BP solar lamps enable village children
to lengthen the study time in the evenings. Visit EurekaChild.org
Time has come to set up a "GIVING CIRCLE",
where we all can make small or big contribution and distribute
fund to deserving institutions in Bihar and Jharkhand. BJANA
Executive Committee along with all major contributors will
select organization to which collected fund will be distributed.
A BJANA patron can also direct his/her contribution to a worthy
cause and deserving case.
2. Bihar Foundation- East Coast US Chapter
