We had a successful general body meeting on May 2nd.
I would like to thank all the attendees personally for taking the time
to attend the meeting.
Special thanks to Mr. Rakesh and Ritu Sinha for hosting the meeting at their place
and to Mr. Uday Verma for arranging the snacks.
I would like to extends my sincere thanks to everyone who pledged donations in the
bad times of BANA. We were able to raise $3,693 (pending collection) which
would cover the cost of upcoming election and any dues.
Following actions/decisions took place at the meeting:
1. With sadness, I report the resignation of past president Mr. Pankaj Kumar.
2. An election committee was formed to conduct the next election by the mid of June.
3. All the dues which BANA owes would be paid very soon.
4. Introduction of new roles and responsibilities for executive members.
5. All the issues as presented in the document
BANA_IN_MOTION
were discussed in detail.
6. The overall meeting was fun and enjoyable facilitated by jokes etc by Sanjay
7. Several suggestions from members were taken and are on way
to consideration and implementation.
